Description
The University of Iowa, Division of Immunology, in the Department of Internal Medicine is recruiting a rheumatologist for a faculty position at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor in the clinical (non-tenure) or tenure track, depending on qualifications.
Education Requirement:
M.D. degree or equivalent.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must show completion of an ACGME accredited residency and fellowship program.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy interactions with students, staff, and faculty.
Certifications:
Board certified/eligible in rheumatology.
Desirable Qualifications:
Evidence of a commitment to clinical teaching, clinical research and/or outcomes research is desired.
Demonstrated experience and interest in basic, translational, or clinical research.
Leadership and interpersonal strengths in relationships with colleagues, staff, and patients.
