Rheumatology Locums Physician - North Carolina, No Call
Outpatient rheumatology assignment near Asheville, North Carolina - no inpatient duties or call coverage required.
Highlights:
- Only 1-2 weeks/month - you choose the dates
- No call - enjoy uninterrupted evenings
- Clinic-only - no hospital rounds or procedures
Practice Setting:
- Adult outpatient clinic
- 10-12 patients per day
- Supported by a tenured APP
- EPIC charting system
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday, 8a-5p
- Part-time blocks or full-time ongoing
- Option to split coverage with another provider
Cases and Procedures:
- General rheumatology: arthritis, lupus, gout, osteoarthritis
- No procedures required
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Rheumatology
- Active North Carolina license
- BLS and DEA required
Travel Accommodations:
- Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage included
Other Details:
- Long-term locums need due to retirement
- Fall start dates available with 45-60 day credentialing
